Can anyone recommend where I can have my C2S serviced? I am based in Newport.

Hi Bernard. I've been taking my 996 to Andrew at CMD Porsche in Pyle for the last 5 years. (01656 746262). I find him excellent but most importantly totally honest and trustworthy. I was in there for my annual service just last week. You can tell him exactly what you do and don't want doing and he'll give you an unbiased opinion. He even talked me out of having some work done last week!

If you want to go down the independent route you'd find it difficult to beat Chris at http://www.chrisdenningsportscars.co.uk

I've also found that the main Porsche dealers in Cardiff really do try to be as helpful as possible and on some occasions are reasonably priced too.

There's also a small garage in Tintern near the moon and sixpence pub that deals with older Porsche models and some Boxsters but I've never used

them so can't recommend either way.

This may be only a early post from me but, i too would say Chris denning in Cardiff
dealt with Chris on a few occasions and his knowledge and passion are second to none,

I have been down that route for the past 5 years or so with both Boxster and 993 but unfortunately found that insomnia was the result.

I must admit I would recommend OPC Cardiff and in particular Martin Wright. He's been very good to me so far, from a customer satisfaction point of view 9/10 perhaps from a price point of view maybe not but with my first Porsche experience I have found the opposite and I'm sleeping much better...

Hi,

Indeed another recommendation for Cardiff OPC. Had all service and MOT work carried out through them for the last 4 years. No hard sell, very polite and great communication.
