Thereafter, you should get plenty of comments. Are you considering a Porsche warranty? The service would make sense with them if so. Otherwise, there are some excellent independents in the area.
I do remember in early ownership at another Porsche dealership there was the opportunity for some discount on service prices and also they would allow you to supply your own oil, Mobil 1, which would be a lot cheaper than what they would charge for oil. However this all seems to have been subsequently stopped.
If anyone has found the ability to get discount through PCGB membership I would love to know the secret of how you have done this?

1 x air filter air suction ... is this the two inlet air filters ?
1 x odour and allergen filter ... is this the pollen filter and the allergen filter ?
I had the same service recently, was quoted £957 but with a PCGB discount of 10% off parts only I paid £905
See post 184 page 10 ... 981 Cayman S ... to 981 Cayman GT4 (Page 10) | Porsche Forum from Porsche Club GB
I would ask for a complete breakdown of individual parts and prices
You could delete the top up bag (1 litre oil) and screen-wash (window cleaner outer) to save ~ £25
The warranty is worth it and I assume that the car is not already covered ?
Depending on the build date there is a risk of exposure to the known gearbox shaft issue, although this should have been covered under a recall ?

Probs not thinking of a warranty as car is a 2016 model so not sure what would be on offer if at all .
Porsche warranty available on cars up to 15 years old. Cost for Boxster / Cayman is about £600 a year which is not bad value really. Well worth considering if you are going to use main dealer anyway as a major cost of the warranty is having to use the main dealer for service. If you're not going down the warranty route then you'd be better using a good independent, put the money saved into a fund in case something big does wrong.

I was lead to believe no PCGB discount On servicing.
Odd one however as when i asked if there was any movement on price I was told the quote they have given me was already discounted. Which I later found out wasn’t as Newcastle quoted exactly the same (fixed price services)
Very odd customer service and disappointing when I’ve used Teeside from opening. Never received a reply to my email asking what the discount was they had apparently applied…
Decided to use Newcastle. They will collect car for free on covered transport or offer Porsche loan car. Teeside offered neither.
