Servicing advice

Despite references elsewhere on this forum, my service book (53 plate 'S') says 30,000 miles or 2 years. I have 1 stamp in the book at 30K for a minor service. Clock has just turned 48K and dash is reporting service due in 1400 miles. I cant find any reference in the handbook as to whether it is just time/distance based or more scientific (oil viscosity etc). When I bought the car 6 months ago (39K on the clock) I had a minor service (oil change) done at an indy as a precaution but didnt stamp the book. Is it simply a case of them not updating the OBC??

Advice?

Sounds like the ideal time for a service, coming up to 4 years old so due a 2 year periodic at the anniversary anyway. Check with your dealer for fixed price service and a PCGB 10% discount, some do, some don't.

OK so I read it wrong! But looks like Im not the only one. Service interval is 20K (well 18 actually) but just written very badly in the service book. Only service it has had was at 30K so now looks like service history isnt what I thought it was.

So time for a major service and OPC prices. Planning for OPC service (and stamp) and Indy for the rest of the work. Also seems it needs plugs and brake fluid change. Where would be the best place to buy plugs from if I bought them myself.
