Servicing in London - thoughts on independent vs. OPC?

The recent reduction in "menu" pricing for older cars (not sure if its for over 6 years) has made them quite competitive for regular services. I chose to have my 2004 Boxster serviced by OPC Silverstone recently and its Major was £398 including VAT (without plugs or brake fluid, which had already been done). This was actually cheaper than one local indy. Plus I got to put 120 miles on a 981 for the day!

Hi, I have a 56 plate Cayman S. I'm due for my 6 year service (~36k miles) and thinking about whether to use the OPC or go independent. Any opinions on which route to take? Any recommendations for independents in West / South-West London would be really helpful too

With recent baby arrival use of the Cayman is limited now (have had to invest in an 4 seat family wagon (Audi A7)!) and I have some thoughts of selling in next 12 months - though it's such a fun car I will probably keep it and live with only doing a few thousand miles a year in the Cayman. All advice well received

Thanks in advance

GT One in Chertsey have been looking after my son's '06 Cayman and he's been happy with their customer care and prices.

I have used No 5 Garage in Acton, they have all the necessary kit for diagnostics and resetting the service light. Were £££s cheaper than OPC on 4 years major service, and repaired faulty items that OPC had previoulsy missed / didnt bother about! Previously looked after my 3.2 911 for many years.
