Servicing in Worcestershire

I'll need to get a 4 year major service soon on my 2010 Boxster S. Can anybody recommend an independent in Worcestershire? Anyone any experience of Cotswold Porsche Specialists in Toddington? I've always used Solihull OPC but they've gone a bit daft on pricing... menu service at £610 plus £280 for plugs(!!), £190 for wheel alignment... haven't spoken to Des yet but it doesn't bode well. AND when asked about taking my own oil he said "No, we don't do that anymore"... so the oil is £112 vs £38... hmmmm!!

Hi, try Richard at RSr in bromsgrove, he worked at solihull Opc until they moved,so he started on his own, very knowledgable and his prices are very sensible.

Two of us Two are in Brierley Hill, they are mainly ex Porsche employees from the Merc/Porsche distributor that shut down in the area in the 90 ' s.

There is also Specialist Vehicle Preparations just outside of Droitwich which I use. Fixed price menus so no inflated pricing.

Try the new OPC at Tewkesbury, I just ordered a new GTS and very impressed by their willingness to strike a deal. I met someone who was very surprised to be quoted less than one of the independents for servicing his 952. The facility has only been open 3 months and everything is brand new.

Thanks for all the tips guys.

It looks like the new Dick Lovett OPC in Tewkesbury are coming up with a good deal and as the warranty doesn't expire till April I'll go with them. Useful feedback for next year though, so thanks again.

Phil.

Thanks Big Cat - our posts overlapped there so I've only just seen yours. Yes, I went to the 'launch' last week & it's a nice set-up. Makes a change for a dealer to have a car park like Tesco's rather than the usual one that takes 10 cars and is always full!!
Cheers,
Phil.
