Servicing, MOT etc in Herts, Cambs, Beds

Can anyone reccommend a Porsche specialist who can do Servicing, MOTs and minor repairs in Herts, Cambs or Beds. I would very much value the thoughts of others and any guidance they can give.

I (and a lot of others) use Auto 2000 in Bedford, Nick is your man.

yes they are still very much up for 993`s-just had a 24000mile service and running beautifully-they also have pete at langley autocraft down the road who is an ace repairer

Really appreciate all the help folks. Terrific. To be honest the PC in Harston is ideal as live in Cambridge. Thanks jdpef356 but always heard very expensive and not quite the passion for the older cars that you would get from a specialist. Perhaps this is unfair and unjustified?

As I said before - join the club speak to the Regional members at monthly meetings and events. You will meet other people with
you model of car - ask them where they take their pride and joy? Not many Cambs and Beds members read the forum so you will only get a limited feedback from here.

Paul. I get my 964 serviced there, and they do even the earliest 911 (menu pricing on their web site)- I suspect it is the 924/944/968/928 market that they may have decided not to focus on - too much competition in that market for tuning work perhaps?

I am really grateful for the advice. Many thanks. Only fair that I report back on end result. In the end, I used OPC in Harston, nr Cambridge who were excellent. |Terrific enthusiasm for 993 and knowledge in equal measure. I was a bit nervous about the cost but it was all entirely reasonable, the service standard was impeccable and I would have no hesitation in using them again. It was always the most convenient option for me living in Cambridge and sure I will pay a bit more but dont mind if I get the service. As an aside, I did try one of the others suggested on the thread. It is perhaps a little unfair on the other specialists who were reccommened but who I didnt contact but the one I did didnt bother to return two calls and one email. I wont publicly name but if anyone wants to know please email me. I was quite surprised given the positive feedback. It's a customer lost. As always, grateful for the advice and a great end result

Just a quick addition to this post (I know the OP is sorted now, but this may help others!)

I highly recommend Paul Roughan and PSR Automotive in Bishops Stortford, Herts. He does all things Porsche, Lotus and Aston and is reasonable in price. He can also do 'four corner' geometry alignment.

PSR Automotive. The website is a bit out of date, but being rewritten at present.
