Servicing recommendations?

Hi all, my 964 C4 is due for its first service under my ownership. I believe its next service is the mighty 24k one (oh lucky me) as the car has completed 75k miles and had a 12k service last January.
The car has previously been serviced at JZ Machtech for the past couple of years and i am tempted to continue the tradition, though they seem to err on the expensive side. I am also considering Autostrasse as they are closer (in essex).
I live in North Kent, so any other specialist recommendations, or thoughts/experiences on the two i have mentioned above?

thanks in advance,
Mark

The previous owner of mine lived in Beckenham and used to get it serviced at JZ and swears by them. If you want a comparative price try your local OPC then after you have picked yourself up off the floor you will be round to JZ in no time [;)]

Having used Autostrasse since buying my 964 in November 2004 for general servicing (6k, 12k and 24k) I would not hesitate in recommending them. They are a friendly bunch and their service costs are competitive. I've not used JZ's but the general concensus appears to be positive.

Camtune looks after my 964 engined supersport and i would recommend them 100%.They also have a courtsey car [:)] which helps.

They are based in Godalming, near Guildfield

I use Autostrasse as well, but I think their pricing has increaced of late......they are very approachable chaps though and I have time for them.

Our Newly aquired C4 will shortly be going into Promax Brackley, they are a great bunch, competitive and have done lots of work on my 944,car runs well and has been serviced before we took it over but will be happier knowing it has had a thorough poke around.

Thanks for the recommendations [:)]

Has anyone used Jaz at Wembley? Not averse to using JZ again but its a real mission to get the car there and pick it up from Kent.
Autostrasse would be a lot more convenient as my girlfriend lives in Essex (no jokes..she's Italian!). Have they got a professional setup there then? I couldnt find any info about them online.

thanks
Mark

Paragon, as already mentioned, or maybe Parr in Crawley should be more convenient for you. I don't use either of them (RGA in Vauxhall is the current happy home for my car when in needs some work), but a posting on the Kent and/or Sussex regional forum might produce some comments (or try a search).

i took it back to JZ's in the end. They had so many very good recommendations, it seemed the right thing to do.

I'm pleased to announce it sailed through the MOT and service inspection with only a handful of minor things needing doing, the dearest being a set of washer pump valves at £65. [:)]
