It seems that Nigel at Powermarques has retired. I cannot get replies to email or the phone and the premises have been locked whenever I've called. He was due to leave but not 'till summer, I thought.

So, who do you people use for servicing and how pleased are you with the work, please?

Ian

Hi Ian, Nigel has been about to emigrate to Brazil for a couple of years now. Looks like he has maybe finally taken the plunge. I now use Ben at Renspeed in Gainsborough who does first class work. Can't recommend Ben highly enough. Bens mob is 08741 911911 . Easy no to remember! Cheers Graeme

Hi Graeme Thanks for that. Has Ben teamed up with the Prepfab boys who have also moved into Gainsborough? Cheers Ian

Just answered my own question, they are both on Thornton Street, seems they have joined forces? Has anyone else tried 'em? Ian

Ian I also use Ben having previously used Nigel. He is very knowledgeable with all ages of Porsche. I know he used to assist Nigel at times which says it all for me.

I use Revolution Porsche over at Brighouse. Not exactly 'local' but they have a very good reputation, v. highly thought of on the Boxanet forum - even have customers travelling to them from Scotland and south coast. Mechanics are Porsche trained and know their stuff. If you want to contact them Russ is the man on 01484 717342

I drove through Keadby today and called in one last time. No sign of Nigel but the guy from the adjacent unit said that Nigel is back and busy working on Porsches! I have drawn the conclusion that he is sorting his affairs prior to finishing and then emigrating and is probably not looking to take on any extra work. I will miss him but it is time to move on.
