Hi

Any thoughts on reputable specialist in Kent/Surrey area. Looking to give my 87 3.2 Coupe a full service ,4 wheel alignment and MOT.
Has anyone used GT One - are they the old RUF specialist?

GT-One are very good.
It was set up by 2 ex-Ruf UK guys.

You will find a few threads on the forum recommending them.

Unlikely. Although you will get the same (or better) hourly rate, a major service on a 3.2 Carrera will take longer and thus cost more than a 996. Don't forget, your valves need adjusting - none of that hydraulic lifter nonsense for your car!
Having said that, PC Bournemouth service my car, they always put the same, excellent technician on the job, who treats my car as if it was his own and I reckon the cost is similar to most good indy's.

Hello
The Official Porsche Centres always try to get my business but they admit that they do not have staff who know and understand our air cooled cars. That is why I prefer to use one of the leading Porsche Independents.
When I first got my Carrera 3.2 I used JZ Machtech because they were fairly local, I lived in Stevenage and they are in Kings Langley. I have now moved to Staffordshire and use PCT at Coventry.
This may sound like an advertisment but I can recommend both of these establishments. The guys at PCT are very helpful, they do the work you want, they advise what they would recommend but there is no pressure to have things done. The important things is they know these vehicles and are working on them every day.
Regards
ALAN
