I will also post in wanted section !
Does anyone have a spare set of alloy Cup 1's - that they want to sell. The split rims that were on my Clubbie require a pretty severe setting to clear the wing, so I would prefer to have the option on the set up to standard to start off with.
PM me if you want to sell a set.
Thanks

You could also fit 18" Carrera wheels from the facelift 986 Boxster ?

7.5 x 18 (50) and 9 x 18 (52) ---- weigh just 9.3 and 10.3 kilos so just 1 kilo more than the mags, and 18" wheels.

Yo may find these more easily --- and they look quite good to my eyes !

(Think big but cheap [:D])

Chris,
thanks for that I have set of those very wheels on my 993 and they do look very nice on a 964. I may go that route if I can't find any.

Thanks for linking the German e-bay link but buy it now price of £1536 for set of Cup 1 Alloys is a bit steep. My German is not very good, so maybe he is thowing a car in at that price[:D] which I missed.

They are 7" and 9" advertised by the look of it. They look as though they don't need refurbishing which will be a saving.

You really need a set of Cups or a set of mag's to go with that car in my opinion - for best - photos or if the time comes to sell. The car was exceptional value so I guess there was recognition in the price because of the wheels it has. The price of Cups or mags is unlikely to go down - rarity value - so you may have to bite the bullet.

The 'proper' Cup size is 8" and 9.5". I managed to get a pair of 7" and a pair of 8" but they need total refurbishment. When I get a round tuit [:D]

Wasn't chfs911 trying to sell a set on here last week? Send him a pm Simon...his name is Charles by the way.

Yes he was ...

And Martin ?

The Clubbie used 7.5 and 9 x 17 --- it was the Cup car that had the 8 and 9.5" wheels, I believe !

(Mine has ... !!)

Can't reply to your PM Simon. You need to switch it on.

I have a set of Cup cups but not cheap but will always be more expensive when you come to sell.

They are VGC.

Charles

I believe it's now difficult to get hold of the Mille Mig's...ones with the corret offset anyway. I know Andy at Gmund had a few sets kicking around last time I spoke to him if that is any help to you.

In addition to the link I sent you regarding the 964 Cup 1s on ebay Germany, I have since noticed that the same seller also has a set of CUP Cup 1s for sale - also on ebay Germany. Fully refurbished etc etc 1,890 euro.
I know it's a lot of money, but I doubt they'll get much cheaper over time, and they'd be the perfect finishing touch for your Clubbie!

cheers

That´s what I think. If they are good and original, you won´t get them cheaper.
On the Cup car you need 21mm spacers in the rear, probably the same on a clubbie.

Not my wheels unfortuately. My mechanics. I am sure he can source Cups in Germany if anybody else needs some.
