set of Fuel Injection Lines wanted for 1972 MFI

MJC Gulf 911

New member
Help again!

I now need a good set or a new set of fuel injection lines for my 1972 911 Hill Climb car. This will run as a 2.7ltr.
Does anyone either have a set or know where I can have a set made please?
The work to the engine is being done by Bob Watson/Canford Classics but we are missing the lines.

Thank you

Martyn

Can you not get these from Porsche ? Their part numbers are :-
Cylinder 1 = 911 110 021 00
Cylinder 2 = 911 110 022 00
Cylinder 3 = 911 110 023 00
Cylinder 4 = 911 110 024 01
Cylinder 5 = 911 110 025 00
Cylinder 6 = 911 110 026 00

and the clamp to hold pipes no 1,2 & 3 is = 911 110 333 00

I have seen some racers with flexible made-up pipes which I presume may be manufactured commercially, any racers out there who could help ?

Robin,
Thank you for that detail, which is very useful. I have sent an enquiry regarding availability to Ted Craig at Porsche Silverstone listing the numbers and enquiring about availability.

Best regards
Martyn

The flexible pipes are available from a number of sources. Supertec in the US certainly do them. Pretty sure they can also be sourced direct from UK - Neil Bainbridge comes to mind or if not he would certainly know where to get them.

Pretty sure the clamps were NLA but can't remember on the metal pipes themselves

Ian.

Try Canford Classics - they can supply most early 911 parts and offer a variable discount to club members.

Hello Robin,

Thank you for the detail. I spoke to Ted Craig at Porsche Silverstone, who was very helpful. Unfortunately, he advised that the Fuel lines from Porsche have apparently been unavailable for some time.

I have located a set of plastic lines but would still be interested in the metal original lines if anyone has a set.

Thank you

Martyn

Hello Chris,

Thank you for the suggestion. The car is with Canford Classics as Bob Watson is rebuilding the engine for me. They don't have a set of lines but thank you anyway.
Best regards

Martyn

Ah, now I know who you are (or at least I know your car) I took a photo of mine parked next to yours last week. Maybe we'll bump into each other at CC sometime.
If Alan or Bob can't source them I'm guessing that nobody else in the trade will. Have you tried someone like Pirtek who make custom pipework of all descriptions? Or speak to Bosch and ask if they have a source for repro patrs.

Bob Watson called me this evening to say that Twin Spark Racing in Holland have the Flexible MFI RSR Fuel Lines and I have now placed an order for them. They are available in Black - which at the time of writing are on two weeks back order - and clear, which are the ones I have gone for.

Chris, thank you, yes mine is the Gulf liveried Porsche 911 and I can't wait to get out on the hills in it!

Thank you again,

Martyn.
