Settings for Mo30?

Hi Guys
Any impressions about setting the Mo30 front Koni's for rebound and what the driving tendencies are? I am about to use them for the last time on the track this weekend and wondered if there is a preferred setting?
Thanks
Patrick

I would have thought that given they are a road car shock, full hard alround for the track would be a starting point and work back.

I always set my shocks full hard for the track, then back to full soft for the road. I could definitely tell the difference if I left them on hard on a bumpy the road, but my meagre driving skills could never ascertain much difference on track.

It made me feel better though [:)]

It may in fact be raining but I will be on my new shiny 18" wheels with virgin 255/35's and 285/30's R-spec Toyo R888's. Aquaplaning may be more of the issue!
PS I'm getting new springs soon and I've been told the rates are 110N f and 50r rear helpers. Any idea what this is in psi?

Just checked in my "little book" and, 110N/mm = 615lbs/inch......and, 50N/mm = 279 lbs/inch....

Hope that helps you...

My uprated ones are,,,Fronts,,80N/mm or 447lbs/inch..
and the rears Main springs are ,,70N/mm or 391lbs/inch..
I left the helper springs alone, ie they are the standard KW V3 suplied stuff...

Blimey, they sound really stiff Dave. However I know the KW bypass valve does work wonders over bumps, so what is it like on the road with those springs?

I think the word would be "supple". defo not soft...BUT the kit can be made very stiff by adj the bump + rebounds....

You reckon Dave's sound stiff? I hope my dashboard is going to stay in place with mine! So Dave when you say that your main rear springs are 391 lbs is which t-bar is that based on? I have the standard 951 which is meant to be 25.6mm I think. I hope I won't have an imbalance with the front to rear rates? What do you think of my spring rate and would you consider going stiffer yourself? Will I have to set my damping to full 'Soft' for anything but the track?
Thanks
Patrick

My T-bar is the standard S2 version.. Dont know the diameter off the top of my head...

I cant go any stiffer, as the valving on the standard KW V3 is at its max spring rate...If i put any stiffer on, it would overheat the valves + damage them.....
I spoke to the tech "R+D" of KW at Autosport International,[ our local performance show] + he told me that the stiffest springs i could safely put on were the ones ive now got....
