Severe knocking noise

Hi all,

i have a 2014 Cayman s, 40,000 miles, drove yesterday and after hard acceleration car makes knocking noise, drove on as thought it was in the cabin, on stopping this noise is brutal from the engine, any ideas? No warning lights and car still drives just sounds horrendous.

Sound is at idle, and knocking gets worse on throttle, constant sound.

Have be video but not sure how to attach on here?

I would leave it alone, don't start it, and get Porsche Assistance to recover to your OPC.

Definitely get it taken in to the OPC ASAP, do not drive it as while hopefully it will be something external to the engine it could still be hazardous.
