hi guys,

have had my S2 for a few weeks now, bought it for £3k with full test. It has high(ish) miles on it 148k - but has full service history - refurbed cups, full set of new rubber and had a new power rack for the mot. It had some minor electrical problems like the door not locking (small bit of plastic) and a window not working - but have sorted these now and absoloutlely loving it.

My first porsche and a real machine. I'm looking to get the original steering wheel for it - but apart from that i'm happy (for the moment).

Anyway heres some pics.

Looks good for 3k - I bet there'll be a few more of those minor electrical problems before you're done - they get better with use though [:D]

I've got a black lozenge wheel in good nick if you want one - where in the UK are you?

148k is nothing for these cars (but have you had the belts/seals/chain/tensioners/sprockets changed/checked?)

thanks for the offer, but i think i'll try for a blue one to match the rest of the interior. Whats the crack with the cam cover, isn't it just standard?

Mmmm looks nice [:)]

There are two shades of blue interior and yours looks like the lighter one if the gearstick is anything to go by, though I think the darker blue steering wheel will not look out of place.

The cam cover looks like it's been recently painted/powder coated. There were two shades from the factory, a grey and a beige [:'(]. The fact that your cover has been off for painting is hopefully a good sign that your camshafts and camchain have recently been inspected.
