Supercar Sunday the Sharnbrook Hotel 6th September 15 Last call for names now please – sorry no turn up on the day (The organiser needs numbers in advance to ensure they get the layout for the event correct) this year’s event will be held on the Sunday the 6th of September 2015. Those who have attended previously will be able to tell you this really is a superb event. A Regional stand on the top lawn is set in amongst some of the world’s finest supercars. Knightsbridge will once again empty as they all head north to the Sharnbrook Hotel. Last year even saw a 918 being flown in from the Middle East for the event. This event is timed to coincide with the Italian F1 GP. Sit down to a fabulous lunch and watch the GP on a large screen either end of the dining room. I can reserve ‘Porsche Club’ dining tables but do require your name. The menu, something Italian or a full Sunday roast, three course and coffee at approx £18.00 ph. Can I have your names please for parking and lunch via e mail. Entry closes 28th August 2015.

Hi Everyone

I have received a further update from the Sharnbrook Hotel Management on Sundays Supercar event. I have copied this below. Most points are covered in my email of 28th August 2015. Just a couple of points worthy of note:-

- Extra charge if you arrive late!

- If you have booked lunch via me fear not your seat is reserved on a Porsche Club reserved dining table in the Amalfi Suite. Please take your seats for Lunch at 1230.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday

Enjoy your cars, club and Supercar Sunday.

John

Subject: Supercar Sunday - This Sunday 6th September - Reminder
Date: Tue, 1 Sep 2015 20:29:20 +0000

Quick reminder regarding our Supercar Sunday this Sunday 6th September – thank you for registering your attendance!

What time and once you’re here:
Please arrive between 9.30am to 10.30am. The Kiosk will be open from 9am serving Bacon Rolls and Tea/Coffee so you can grab your brekkie here.

Any show cars arriving after 11am, will be given access subject to availability and my discretion - but will also be charged the £3 per person entry fee after 11am. Once show cars are in position, we request that they stay in position until 3.30pm. The Supercar Driveout will take place at 3.30pm to an undisclosed location – where we will choreograph a ‘Supercar Flashmob’!

Other notes:
We are now FULLY BOOKED for the ITALIAN GP in The Amalfi Suite but we have some availability currently remaining in VesuviO Restaurant
If you would like to book for Italian GP Sunday Lunch in VesuviO restaurant please email me by return or call us on 01234 783142.
Our Kiosk will also start serving a BBQ & Pig Roast from 11am.

2015 IMPORTANT CHANGE & EXPLANATIONwe have introduced a £5 Entry Fee payable on the gate for all show cars – irrespective of how many passengers it’s per car - following much deliberation we had to make this decision BUT you will stillreceive a commemorative Mug guaranteed for all those arriving before 11am and a £3 Voucher for use at the Kiosk before Midday – so you can grab yourselves a Tea/Coffee/Bacon Roll to get your day started. Unfortunately increasing costs and others taking advantage of our free entry have forced my hand on this. The £5 is payable on the gate on arrival to our Gate Girls…

Our official Event photographers Stuart & Harry Theobald will be making their way around the show – also keep an eye out for our Pit Girls as well as our Cannonball Run Stunner Jane.

We look forward to welcoming you to our event and hope for blistering sunshine!!

Kind Regards

Tempting fate[8|]

Managed to miss it due to being a lazy git and wanting a lie-in! Looks like the weather was reasonable too. Maybe next year!

Chris.

As usual it was a good day out, with plenty of Porsches in attendance - not all Club members though - and Lambos too.

Jeff
