Sharper response

I've just seen a thread on Rennlists Cayenne forum (http://cayenne.rennlist.com/cayenne/ownerforum.htm )suggesting that turning off the PSM results in a sharper throttle response - and it does!
Tried it and the car starts in 1st holds the gears longer and appears to respond better (quicker) to the throttle. It's probably not necessary all the time but for those 'sportscar' moments it does make a difference.

Not checked - didn't seem relevant, I would expect because it holds the gears longer that it may be.

I must try this on the way home and see what happens.

I can only assume that the PSM is designed to take the edge off "harsh" moves to prevent skidding, etc. I'll have to study my books![;)]
