She Lives ! (why did your 944 not start ?)

all day testing everything and I'm not really any the wiser.

No start problem Really stumped now. Open to any suggestions including a a match [;)]
why did you car not start ? what did you do to get it going again?

I tested the plug leads again and re-affirmed strong regular spark.
Cracked open the fuel rail at the nut before the pressure regulator loads of fuel gushes out when cranked[8|]

tested the crank speed sensor 0.668 ohms ok

removed and cleaned all the earth straps and ground points I could find (horn now works again [:D])

NO Start !...........well ok there was a single cough every time I cranked her over but nothing after that except the smell of gas.
update.
well after lots more testing and getting my hands trapped just about everywhere I have found that the injectors are not receiving any voltage. That presumably means the ECU
