Shipley Action ....

I have no idea what is in Shipley, but you are not far from the Dales, get yourself out to Skipton, Grassington, Pateley Bridge and then drop down to Pool, Otley and back to Shilpley. An absolutely joyous set of roads to drive[:D]

Or you could go from Skipton to Settle then off to Hawes via the Settle Viaduct, Leyburn, Masham, Ripon and home.

Sorry I have no idea about beer and food in Shipley, but there are some great places to eat in the places above and loads of pubs to choose from.

If you fancy an Indian I can recommend the Aagrah restauraunt. Great food. Also check out Salt's Mill and Saltaire village. A world heritage site featuring the David Hockney gallery on the top floor. Plenty of nik-nak stalls to tempt the wallet. Great walk along the canal too. The route Mark set out for a drive is grrrreat too. Check out Betty's in Ilkley for cream tea and a cake. Good road out of Shipley via Baildon, Hawksworth and past Cow and Calf (Ilkley Moor) and on to the Dales. Enjoy this little motoring slice of heaven on earth!
