I am going to need to replace the shocks shortly and wondered if anyone could help on type, cosy & best place to buy etc?

P.S After all the problems i have had with the car, everything seems to be going smoothly at the moment [:D]

The M030 Kit is the best value upgrade. For a 2002- C4 Manual it is £643.21 inc VAT from Porsche. This includes shock absorbers and anti-roll bars. If you have the standard M029 suspension it is a worthwile upgrade, and if you already have M030 it is far cheaper than buying 4 individual shockers.

Just to modify that a bit richard, i bought the kit about 3 weeks ago from the opc in leeds (getting it fitted this weekend) and with the club discount its around £585 - that more than pays for the years membership, i also bought all 4 top mounts and 2 bearings at richards advice which was around £400. Although as mines a C2 i think the parts might be slightly cheaper than yours. Oh and my local garage has quoted me 4 hours and £192 to fit it so im taking him up on that offer[;)].

Edit; if you get stuff from design911 they give you 5% discount for being a club member (you enter it as a promo code- i think it might be pcgb007 or something like that but if you ring them up they will tell you it anyway).
