Hi I am undecided. I have the choice of buying 2, 2.5 Boxters both about 11years old. One has been used day to day and covered over 100k miles, serviced well and repaired when required. Its a bit tatty but only 5k the other is a low mileage 48k one that has been standing around for the last 6 months but 8k. The question is which should I chose!??

Jerry,
bought my Boxster S for £5K, 38,000 miles..thats a hobby car, will only cost me 7K all in when done so they are out there.. OK its a cat D but rather that than the standard car.. Only my opinion and my choice I know

whichever you can afford[:)]

or better still wait for a better one to come along if undecided

Hi Thanks for all your help. I've managed to get a 2001 Y reg Boxster S with 63k miles on the clock for £7k. Just driven it 20 miles home with a big smile on my face!

You'd only have regretted it if you'd settled for the 2.5. Now time to join the Club!

Hi Certainly not regretting buying the Boxster S, especially as the sun is shining. I have been a member of PCGB for about 12 years (with a few breaks) for some reason I seemed to be signed into the Forum as a Guest?

There's something you have to do to change your status. Can't remember what but it might be in the FAQs. Anyway if you post in the Help section it gets sorted out.
