Should I buy?

Hi - a newbie here.

Due to kids got rid of the soft top last year and bought a very sensible baby mobile (Mazda) for the wife. She hates it so time to change for something more comfy and becoming. While we don't wish to spend a kings ransom I have been offered by a customer of mine a KN on a 53 plate S (in maroon?) with 51,000 on the clock with most goodies other than Air for £14K. He is the 2nd owner and has had owned her for 4 years and run up 30k of those miles. The head says newer cars for the price but the heart says great badge at a great price.

What do the learned ones say here? According to Glass's private would be £15.3K but are they selling at this rock bottom price?

All thoughts comments and suggestions most welcomed. Maybe I should hold out for a couple of years until babies are a bit older and buy a sensible Panamera...

Great car. great price. If it's in good nick you won't go far wrong. If you could get a bit off the price you could build in the cost of an extended warranty and have peace of mind on the major stuff. My last KN was a '53 and comfortably saw us through over 60k with no problems to speak of, before the current one which is nearing 50k. Check that the recalls have been attended to at the services and get the coil packs checked, you'll notice a slight hesitation on pick up as a warning sign. Not terribly expensive.

Go for it!

Thanks Peter

I'm going to borrow her next week for a couple of days to get a feel for her. Then make a decision.
