Hi,

Just about to get my spare set of D90's refurbed, i was going to go standard original finish but would love to see some pics of something a bit different - anthracite, polished lips etc. give me some ideas!...

Thanks in advance

Graham

My favourites by a loooong way are those refurbed by Hilux's son for his "dub".

The look is flattered by a tyre profile that wouldn't suit the gearing of a 944, but I don't care - they look fantastic.

I too like the look of those black wheels, however I think you should carefully consider whether black wheels will go with the colour of your car. I have a light gold coloured S2 and decided black wheels were a bit too chavy for it, however they may suit other colours better.

Just my opinion obviously.

Yep, my car is black. I've seen Hilux's sons wheels - very nice. Thats why i was thinking anthracite/gun metal grey with a polished lip?

Mines a black S2 with Gunmetal / Anthracite D90's..

Couple of pictures below, (if it works), What I've found is that from most angles they look great, however there are a few that just don't look as good. I'd like to get the outer rims polished, too see how it looks but don't have a clue where to get this done and also worry about ruining them.

I'd also like to see what a standard set look like...??

If you're anywhere near Warrington you are welcome to take a closer look.

John.
