Proms event at Shuttleworth on Saturday 16th August 2014
> Sorry it has taken some time to post this but we needed to get full details for the event and get an accurate gauge of how many people may attend. I think many members have been put off pre booking tickets by the torrential rain we suffered one year at this event.
> At this stage it is marginal if we could summon up sufficient numbers to take advantage of the group discounted tickets*.
> As we see it that leaves two options:-
> 1. You can purchase tickets in advance up to midnight Friday the 15th before the proms on Saturday the 16th. Cost (32.00 per head) the cost is only £3.20 more than the group discount tickets at £28.20* And you will have a good idea of what the weather will be like.
> 2. Buy your ticket on the gate on the day (That seems expensive at £40.00 per head)
> 3. I have inquired re the pods for groups of people to meet up and basically for a space of 10'x10' to place you own gazebo they wanted £100.00 (so that's a non starter - no chance!)
> Having spoken to Edward Parry we consider the best way forward is for you to book your own tickets. ie option 1 above. Edward will be attending providing the weather forecast is favorable. ie book last minute on line £32.00 So if the weather is fine Edward will attend and will raise the Porsche Club Portable Flagpole in order club members can all meet up.
