Just received the club newsletter and noticed that they are doing a 356 display at the Shuttleworth event on the 2nd of October

Anyone know any more details as I might be tempted to try and venture up there with mine as it's a mere (?*) two hours from London?

Regards

Great - thanks for the information - sounds like I'll be there

I bought two normal tickets and sent them an email to try and enter the Shuttleworth Sprint event which sounds like fun

Here's what I'm bringing (*and it's not the Saudi plated one in Yellow which I thought would make a nice picture with the recent London seasonal take over)

Interestingly most people were stopping and taking photos of the 356 while I was taking these!

Good picture!

I will either be in this , now re-registered

or this , following up it's display at the Goodwood Revival

Very beautiful and spoilt for choice! [;)]

Anyone else have a picture of what they are planning to bring?

Correction to phone number for Shuttleworth - it is 01767 627 924 for Helen Woods , not enough people booked yet to get the concession rate of £21 , so expect to pay £22.50

I went to the Windsor Classics at the Castle event , which combined a Concours D'Elegance , and a public car clubs display along the Long Walk .

There were over 100 Aston Martins parked up there , and around 42 Ferraris , and around 300 cars in total

I was in the solitary Porsche 356.

There was also a solitary Porsche 911 '74 Carrera ....and a '73 RS..... of course PCGB was not one of the car clubs to be featured on the day but even so a thin turn out !!

I was away, else I would have joined you to at least to double the attendance!

Shuttleworth is booked for me, and I've tried emailing Helen Woods to enter the Sprint event (sounds like fun) but I never seem to get a reply to the two emails I have sent - maybe I will try calling...

Here is the lone 356 parked up on the Long Drive at Windsor Castle

Hoping there will be more turning out for Shuttleworth , the date clashes with the Breakfast Club at Goodwood , 'Italian Sunday' , would have gone there in a 1979 Ferrari.......

I'll be there with you John never fear, I got an invite to the Breakfast club for Italian day too but

356s will always win over 308s. especially for a 2hr drive !

Family commitments now mean that I will be unable to attend on Sunday unluckily, apologies

I do however have two entry tickets purchased in advance which if anyone would like to attend in my place please ping me back and they are all yours

Regards
