Does anyone else have this problem?
When you open the doors, the window retracts slightly, but when opened quickly, the top of the window catches on the underside of the frame in the soft top.
We all do!
Have your car programmed to auto lock the doors that way you have to pull the door lever twice to unlock then open the door.

Its the only way to get a proper seal on a frameless door. And to be fair, you just have to pause for a second when you pull the door handle..

Well I suppose it's no use taking it back to the dealer to have it fixed! I must say I find it hard to believe something like this is a design fault.
It isn't a design fault it's user error! [&:]

From the posted symptoms the problem is with the passenger not the car.ORIGINAL: Tool Pants
The usual common fault is the window regulator.

Its also a pain trying to explain to a passenger never been in the car before on how to use the door correctly without smashing the side window......... or ripping the seal from the car.

Good idea. Makes you look like a gentleman too. [

I never knew there was an issue with this. I have never had a problem with my door or the passenger door doing this. Maybe its because I am older and moving more slowly.[8D] And I don't carry any young people. Well, not too often.

Getting out at the other end is just the reverse of the procedure above.
Or take it back to the OPC for personal training of how to enter and exit a car correctly!
