Thanks in advance

Thanks fellas.

Yeah sawood12 i was lokking at the essential ones myself but also nearly passed out at the price of them.

hotblack you car looks very well with them on, i think is definately the road i am going to go down just a matter of saving a few pennies now for fitting and spraying on top of buying them.

hotblack how are your actually fitted to the car?

Mine is fitted with the box style skirts and I bought them off Ebay for £40 and £20 P&P, then went down to Halfords bought some primer, paint and lacquer. Sanded them down, painted them (in the house for warmth- not really a good idea?!) Jacked the car up a side at a time and pot riveted them on, three in the door and four underneath. If you want you could also spray on some stonechip.

Not sure - I didn't fit them. The S2/Turbo sill trims bolt onto threaded studs protruding from the underside of the car with nylon nuts, so it may be something like this???

Jim.

When ESS fit their covers they use some sort of rubberised glue which is pretty common in the bodyshop trade and a couple of self tapping screws through the wheel arch lips.

yeah thats wot i was thinking.

The glue is called stickoflex and then a few screws in the arches sealed properly shouldnt be a problem

Thanks guys
