It´s been offered for quite a long time and was in Essen more than once, also this year.
I don´t know, if the owner really wants to sell. And, the car is by far not original. Although AFAIK the numbers match, many parts have been changed.
There´s no reason for this price.

Nah ... RS DES surely []
All pukka cup parts but deck lid and bonnet not original as owner wanted a perfect car with no filler from race damage.
Rebuild - all parts ice cleaned, shell dipped, checked on jig etc etc.
All worn trim parts, bushes etc replaced.
In short about as close to a new cup as you can get without going "concours" which would result in an unusable car
Difficult to value imho - it will come down to how much I want it

Serious-ish question.
Whats our view on the going rate for a nut and bolt bare metal (dipped shell) restored Cup - no race winning history or interesting drivers......matching numbers but some panels replaced.
Thanks,
Kev
Hard to say, the market for Cup cars is not that big, even smaller for those with a full resto and matching nos.. I do think, a reasonable price could be around 125 k EUR for such a car.
That said, the car has to be original and should have some documentation.
Prices will rise in the future.
How much do you want it?

All,
Very nice Cup but not for me - I am probably looking for the impossible ie a very nice original Cup (there is one in Sweden but the owner has let me down twice now on the sale).
This car is very nicely done and would make a great car to either show or track - its probably too nice to race though.
Any interest in the car feel free to drop me a PM.
Thanks,
Kevin
