Hi Guys

I know i sound like the Village fool - but how do you get the small picture next to your name/login - i tried using the same formula as posting pictures but it doesn't work ...? Doh !

Go to "My Profile"

Go to "My Avitar"

Select a file (on your computer) to upload:

Follow the format rules

(145 X 145) Max. 20KB;
jpg/gif are supported

Click "OK"

Click on "Apply" at bottom of screen

You'll need to resize the image in something like Paint, email it to me if you have a problem and I'll do it for you.

You can also Google resize photos for forums and use a free online picture re sizer. I found that I had to resize to 145 x 145 pixels and size under 18k before the photo could be uploaded as my avatar.

Also opening a photo bucket account can help when posting photos in your posts.

Its still not happening for me, the size is 145x 90 so size isn't the issue (so she says anyway...)

Looking at your profile and your avatar I get the message
The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
Maybe try uploading and applying again?

Having just spent a frustrating 20min trying to change my Avatar and receiving the Error 404 message, the crucial bit that I was missing out was that having selected the picture and clicked OK, I was failing to then scroll down to the bottom of the page and clicking Apply. Once I did this all worked out fine.
