silencer modification

Hi all this is my first post on this site. I want to increase the sound of my 911sc without changing the appearance. I looked on pelican parts site, but all the mods seem to be to convert to 2 outlets from the back box. I wouls like to open up the standard box and maybe de-retrict the pipework in there and then weld back together. Has anyone done this and if so with what results.

Thanks for that there is a bypass pipe on Ebay. I still want to be able to hear the cd player but want a bit lounder exhaust note, maybe just a new pre silencer will do the trick alone without the need for a sports backbox.
