As above, i got my car in to have the sills possibly totally replaced, is anyone interested in work in progress pics if i can get down there enough? Ive been debating doing it anyway just for future reference but if anyone wants to see the job as it goes along (like Pete Empsons thread) i'll take pictures whenever i can. Anyone care?? []

wow, i'll pop in tommorow then to start taking piccies!
Sc0tty: I orded the exact code, L90E from 3 different places and go 3 different shades of white. My bonnet and light pod covers have both been resprayed at some point too, the colour is slightly off the rest of the car. The body shop said they'd mix up the colour as white is a PITA to match properly, as ive found out.

Yes, I'd be really interested to see lots of detailled pics of 944 sill replacement. Pics of the rust, then of the sills being cut off, as many pics as detailled as you can!
ON My car, I cut out the rust from the sills and welded in patches, then stone chipped the sill and painted. Looks ok apart from certain angles if you look closely. But long term would like to replace the whole sill as it has to be the best repair solution, so yes, seeing pics of sill replacement would be really useful and interesting.

Well it'l be a while yet, maybe a month before its completed so i'll make a new thread at the time. Some of the cars they have lined up are amazing, there was a fully refurbished E-type in there "every nut and bolt has been replaced". Forgot to take pictures of it though! One thing i did get a picture of that some might recognise, i took it on my phone but its still pretty big so ill leave it as a link:
