Set the filter to "posts over last 6 months" and read away - it's a common problem. BTW, love the website - we have the UK's number one Guns and Roses tribute here as well! [:)]

.....and don't forget the UK's number one Whitesnake tribute also Genuine sills from Porsche cost cica £130 a side, then need welding in and painting. If the rust hasn't spread to the rear quarter or the front wing then a very good job can be done for circa £1000 depending on where you are in the country

Thank you [8|] What about the cheaper £45 ones, are they easy to fit, has anybody done that yet ? My inner sills are fine and the rust hasn't spread however the previous owner had them filled so there is a bit of a mess down there.

Cheap ones don't fit, and the cost of getting them fettled is more tan the cost of proper sills. I'd forgotten our Whitesnake tribute. So, we've got one real guitarist, a David Coverdale tribute, Axl and Jamirror. And, of course, I am as good a guitarist as I am 944 Reg Sec....[&o]

I have just been under my car and can safely say that I need new sills on both sides.

Can any body give me an idea of the average price as I don't to pay through the nose.
