Sills are expensive, but often can be patch repaired if not to excessive. How bad are the currently? Pics? Edd
Over a grand a side isn't uncommon, but that's not just to fit outer sills. That would be a really good job including other bits of work around the wings etc. and a proper paint job. If you catch the rust early it'll not be anywhere near as bad a job, although with 20% VAT and South-East labour rates it's never going to be cheap for me. [There are mentions on here saying £1200 Per side but I presume these are extreme cases.
You need to go to Brum then instead, the body shell prep for my race car included 2 new genuine sills (has to be as high tensile steel) the cost was a fraction of what you quote. ISTR EMC want something like 500 quid a side including painting. When I was up there last year they showed me a white 968 that had a complete windows out re-spray, 1500 quid yet many will come on here and say it can't be done for less than 5 grand.ORIGINAL: pauljmcnultyOver a grand a side isn't uncommon, but that's not just to fit outer sills. Thats excellent advice right there, rear pads from your local motor factors should cost more than £30 [ORIGINAL: blease I find half an hour comparing porscheshop/design 911/type 911/promax/eurocar parts and then ringing my OPC will give you the very best idea of costs.
