Silly question re door led`s

Do the door release button thingies you lift or depress to unlock/lock the door have led`s in them.

Mine seem to have lenses at the top...................

Yes they do (not sure from what year onwards - maybe all oval dash cars?). As you lock the door with key, central locking, or plipper - they should flash to warn miscreants that extreme security measures have been activated

Mine doesn't have them, though I think they may have been introduced with the 'E' plates; mine just has flashers mounted on the pillar behind the rear windows (inside the car!).
