Silver 911 Turbo in Milngavie

Can't be bothered posting this in the 911 turbo or the for sale section as it's (a) really only of local interest and (b) there's nothing in it for me.

There's a silver 911 (Reg. V003 ???) for sale at Halleys in Milngavie just now, just reduced to £39995. This car has been sitting for at least one year now, starting price was £46995, then about 2 months ago £43995, now another £4k off over the weekend.

Can't wait till it gets down to my budget!. (at the rate of reduction indicated, maybe in about 6 months!)

For those of you whose budget it might be within, note that it has been sitting for a long, long time.

And no, I have no interest in Halleys aside from the fact I know a few folk in the place and have my scooby serviced there. They don't know I have posted this and it's not an advert.

How come it will be a struggle after 8 years? I thought if the car passes 111 point check then you can get Porsche extended warranty for up till the 9th year and as long as the mileage is less than 125K...

It is a 03 plate and it is 9 years I think it does not even have to have full OPC history so long as it passes the 111 check to extend the warranty , still plenty of bargains about

Well, all the same people who are forecasting doom and gloom didn't see the inflation spike coming or Northern Rock, so forgive me if I take their predictions with a large pinch of salt.

Warranty rules are being changed in October so the market has taken its own view on residuals.
