Silver Crest

I wanted to change the porsche bonnet badge, and the wheel center caps (mine are a mess), with silver version, does anyone know where I can get them from, good quality ones?

I would also like to change the gold badge on my 3 spoke steering to silver, as I already have the silver gearstick, and way to do this without damaging anything and still looking OEM?

Thanks.

Bonnet badge I don't know...
The wheel centres are available from Porsche, and various specialist suppliers. You could try Porschapart, Design911, Porscheshop and so on. Some may not be genuine Porsche, however I have no idea as to quality of genuine v non-genuine. Never needed to change mine...

As to the steering wheel - most people seem to want the gold badge rather than the silver, so your best bet would be to look for posts from people asking how to do the swap the other way! They may well want to swap with yours...
Please swap the whole airbag cover including badge - don't just stick a silver badge over the top of the gold one - it won't look pretty stuck in your forehead if the airbag goes off in an accident.[]

I ordered the wheel centers they are available easily and not too pricey either.

The front bonnet badge is another story there only 1 place that does the real thing and they are in the USA and its fairly costly probably at least £100 by the time you get them over they do look good though, but I might pass on this for now.

This Black Chrome looks good too: http://www.pcars.com/porsche_parts/shop.php/porsche/new-cool-things/porsche-black-chrome-hood-crest-badge-emblem-kit/p_3014.html

Will search for the other way round, is swapping this over as easy as taking the 2 screws out from the back, then unplugging wires? Or is there more too it?

If I remember the silver ones from the us are standard gold ones that have been changed, I did find out how a while back, but I cant remember. Porsche never made a factory silver badge.

Stage 1 complete, I think they look nice. The Airbag and the Front I don't see happening, I think I would be happy if I could do the airbag badge and leave the front alone.

Man you got me all excited for a minute. I think you missed the topic of this thread, I want to change to a silver badge (which BTW offcially does not exist)
