Silver Rose and M030

I understand that the silver rose model had M030 as standard..
1) Is this true
2) Was the Silver rose an early 944 or late 944 model?.. ie will the suspension fit my 90 S2?

'88 special edition Turbo. All '89 Turbos also had it.

It will fit your S2 if you swap the struts complete, but I think you'll either need the matching calipers or to get adaptors to use your S2 ones.

If you find any then you can get them rebuilt as they will almost certainly be worn out. Rear shocks are quite cheap from the OPC.

Anti-roll bars were also bigger if you want to do the whole job.

He folks

If you are in need of any front M030 struts,, ive got a pair "surplus"...

They are just the struts ONLY....No springs etc...

I want £160 +p+p for them ..... They are AS NEW ,... they aparently came off a car when it was only 6 months old + have been sat in there ORIGINAL porsche boxes ever since....As i said AS NEW....NO rust etc.....

Also Ive got a pair of calliper adapter plates for the "standard to M030 "callipers.....BRAND new....
Yours for £60...+p+p.....

Im having a bit of a CLEAR out in the "shed".....

Cheers for that fen.

Im looking at a "complete" kit for suspension and brakes, I've already done the front and rear ARB's. Just wanted to check that the stuff would fit as i understand the earlier cars had a different mounting setup than the later ones.

Depends what ypu want to spend and what you want to use it for but M030 is far from the best available. I expect I'll go for KW personally but since the Pug is terminally poorly I guess at least halfo of the money for it will have to go into a rebuild for that [:(]
