Silverstone 21st July

Are there any Cayman owners going to Silverstone on the 21st of July for a blast of the facelift 997's? I've accepted the invite and got the complimentary flight details already. Can't wait to use someone else's fuel and tyres.

It'll also be a good comparison as I'm going to Silverstone on the 17th with my own car for the track day and even though it's a different track we'll use for the 997 it should be reasonably fresh in my mind how the Cayman behaved on track.

Cheers Dyllan, I found that out when I was at Snetterton a few weeks ago, can't wait till the 17th now.

overtaking the 911`s on the twisty bits is particularly rewarding[:D] have fun on the 17th! derek my insurance includes track days free of charge-sadly they dont throw in a free set of tyres tho!!

Derek, my insurance is the same as Dyllan's, trackdays is included although certain criteria have to be met. Can't rattle it all off just now. Dyllan, being faster than a 997 was particularly rewarding especially as it was my 1st trackday. I think I'll be further down the pecking order this next time at Silverstone. I'm sure there will be a few seasoned trackday pro's this time. The Snetterton trip was for novice's.
