Any of you folks planning to go to Silverstone this bank holiday, to watch the the supercar racing?
I've booked my tickets. As PCGB member it's only £15 for a weekend pass.
Stopping over on the Saturday night too, as I couldn't make up my mind which would be the better of the two days racing!
Porsche Club GB will be there and have arranged their own infield parking/display area. Weather permitting it should be a good weekend

I'll be there - so long as I get my Boxster back. Prices make the Classic look even more pricey!

Weather currently predicted to be sunny on Saturday but rain on Sunday.

Hopefully the weather will be kind .... looking forward to a great weekend .. see you folks down there [;)]

Had a fantastic weekend down at Silverstone. Booked into an excellent hotel (Abbey Hill Hotel, Milton Keynes) on the Saturday night (25 minutes away) excellent value for money, good bar and excellent food.
Many thanks to Robin and Jo Walker (Region 21) for the heads up about the event, arrangements and infield parking during the weekend.

Thanks to Robin, Jo and anyone else involved. I was made to feel very welcome and he was kind enough to give me a lift on his scooter to pick my car up once I'd got an infield pass. Great racing, lovely cars, the stand out for me was defo Sean Edwards & you couldn't knock the event at £15

Also went along early sunday, however no infield passes turned up! Never mind I got parking 20 yards from main entrance. Probably a good thing as car hadn't been washed for ages!

Racing was really good especially Sean Edwards!

Why not try a motorhome at www.yorkmotorhomes.co.uk, special rates for Silverstone.
