Silverstone Classic (25th-27th July 2014) http://www.silverstoneclassic.com/ is still one the great events on the calendar you will not want to miss (even though our National club event will be at Brands Hatch this year).

As we are fortunate to be local to Silverstone, Region 10 will be helping to arrange the familiar Porsche Club presence infield and, as ever, we rely on assistance from any members willing to help out on any of the days, with setting up, logistics and parking.

These events can only happen/succeed with the help of willing volunteers, so if anyone thinks they would like to be a part of this, please contact either Narinder at Club Office (01608 652911) or myself (by phone or via this thread) as soon as possible (stating your availability) so that we can draw up a rota for this essential assistance. Just a couple of hours of your time or as long as you like; you'll enjoy being part of the Club atmosphere, seeing many different members' Porsches and chatting to the owners - it's really not difficult and is always great fun! Plus, you'll always have time to see the rest of the show[;)].

More detail on the event itself and the all-important BOGOF codes, see... http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=809657
Please consider a little of your time to help out the Club - you know it makes sense!

It would be particularly good if any R10 members would be able to help us this year, but all offers of help from any region/members will be much appreciated[:)].

It appears I might be available that weekend and given I've always attended but not helped I guess it's time I chipped in. Just be warned: I can't tell one air-cooled model from another! Chris.

You must have posted at the same time as me, Andy - thanks, would be great if you could do all you can manage[;)] Can you talk to Narinder too, please? Thanks a lot.

Hello Paul, Would a Welsh pair of hands be of any use to you? [;)] If so, I shall get in touch with Narinder... Arfor.

A pair of hands, whatever ‘nationality’ they are [;)], would be most welcome, Arfor. Look forward to seeing you - please contact Narinder at Club Office to register your willingness to assist [:)]. Have we met before? I see you have a early 911T... one of my all time favourites - what colour is it?

Hi Paul, Indeed we have met - at last year's event, where my car (tangerine) was included in the Early 911 display, and we exchanged a few words at the NEC last November. Arfor.
