Silverstone Classic - 23rd July

Neil,

Sorry we didn't get to say hello but at least viewed each others car [:D].....

My first thoughts of Porsche ownership was a red one after seeing TUR80 on the A406 in North London some 30+ years ago but am totally pleased with my purchase [:D][:D]

Must admit it does get some attention which only confirms my choice I guess!

Hope you had a good day, personally, I thought it a little disappointing on last year although the new pits are impressive.

Regards

Paul

We had a great day up there showing people the 911 IS a family car! Not as well organised as last year - took over an hour to queue to get in. However lots to do and weather held.

Sounds like the Sunday was the best day though - hadn't realised Porsches were allowed on the track on Sunday else we'd have been there! Gutted!

The Parade Lap was only arranged on the sunday after barry Smith had approached 'Silverstone'.......
Great experience.

Seems you agree with my previous post, thought trade stands, food outlets etc were very poorly set out.

atb

Paul
