Excellent Pictures Clive and Tracey and what was the award John gave you for your display

Boxster register would be interested as I'm am too.

All the best and I am now looking forward to the next event in September 2016 in Darbyshire.

Yours Kevin.

Ps Clive took a lovely picture of my Special Boxster which was viewed by many people that
included Denise & Johnny McGirl and friends of there's who said they liked the Colour of my Boxster.

Hi Kevin
We were awarded a beautiful wooden gaming box from John and the concourse committee. It was totally unexpected and a lovely surprise. We were also awarded a special award from Claudia Schaffner from Porsche Community Management for our Boxster efforts of a 918 USB stick and a stunning Polycarbonate travel jewellery case. We were really quite spoilt[:)]

Regards
Tracy

WOW !!!!!!! My little beauty of a Spyder (Daro911's ex) achieved 3rd place in the national PCGB concours at the Silverstone Classic on Sunday :ROFLMAO:. Thank you to all, who have offered their congrats. I had spent 3 long weeks of every non-working hour that I was awake detailing her and she looked stunning. However, I live as far south as you can go in Sussex without getting your feet wet and during the 145 mile drive up to Silverstone in my gleaming-like-new Spyder on Friday late afternoon, my friend and I experienced the M25 in a 3 minute light rain shower. Driving only on the "dry lines", I thought it shouldn't affect her too much. Robert (Daro911), had told me that in the years that he was the car's custodian, it had never been on a damp road, let alone in any rain .... Little did my friend and I know that I was to be "mentally tortured" when we got to within 45 minutes of the Silverstone circuit, because it was then that the heavens opened up and really heavy rain continued right up to the point that we parked in the Silverstone Snoozebox Hotel's grass car park [] ! AHHHHHHHH, flip and blow it (or words to that effect) ! On braving an early rise on Saturday morning, we saw the car in good light and drove up to the M&S petrol station 5 miles up the road and used their jet wash to remove the major soiling. So, it was then back to the Silverstone PCGB Concours site, to commence a full day's hard graft for both my friend and I, . There was some really exceptional competition there and one of the other entrants even leant me his jack, so I could clean the inner wheel arches properly - what a diamond chap!. I was amazed by the sheer number of genuinely interested and friendly people that came over to us to chat about the car (and others). What a Weekend it was - fabulous and extremely well organised. A really big thank you to Silverstone, but a very especial thank you to the PCGB for the very professional set up........ and of course, a resounding thank you to Swissvax for selling me the special wax for white Porsche paint and the Lotus Speed detailer spray, which certainly finished the car off with a magical sparkle. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see much racing !! Looking forward to the 2017 PCGB National Concours (I think !)
Regards to all, Dave
