I have been looking through the Porsche Post for news on a 356 display at our National event the Silverstone Classic.
Are we going to have a 356 display? [:)]

P.S. I have not received one of Fred's update memo's for some time - when did you last receive one? [:-]

Good to know I won't be alone

I just dont understand - In my view this is the best event of the year (yes better than Hedingham) If I could only go to one event this year this would be it. The ticket gives you access to all pit areas, walk around the garages with your camera , talk to the drivers, watch the racing from wherever you would like to sit or stand. Practice on Friday and a full race card on both Saturday and Sunday. Just about the whole infield is filled with car clubs for us to look around - for the family a period fairground and numerous other entertainments.
Food halls with beer or tea and Jazz bands playing - a massive trade area selling just about everthing assoicated with motoring and more.
Park you pride and joy (the lady in your life) in the Bubbly tent and your 356 on the tarmac for others to enjoy at Silverstone.
THIS IS YOUR NATIONAL EVENT!
Come on Guys and Gals what are you waiting for? You can still book a Three day ticket (YES 3 days) for less than it would cost you to
to go to Goodwood Revival for one day and see the same cars race!

See you on the Tarmac Paul!

Hi All

Have just spoken to Fred, he says that some cars will be earmarked at Hedingham for the Silverstone display, but other cars (or details of ) will be supplied to the team who are organising the "display"

Please do not forget that the NEW Board are picking up the problems created by the lack of planning that they have inherited, we all need to get behind the new Board and give them as much help as possible to become a CAR CLUB again[:D]

Have fun

Paul Kelley

Thanks for contacting FH re Silverstone - lets hope we can put on a good display.
