Hi all,

We've been offered a parade lap at the Silverstone Classic this year, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the launch of the front-engined range that reached it's pinnacle with the 944. [;)] It will be around lunchtime on the Saturday, more details to follow.

You need a ticket for the event, obviously. It's strictly limited to 20 944s, of any model, and will be strictly first-come with a reserve list for latecomers.

Please email me or text, details are in Porschefile or on the website. [:)]

Hi Paul can you please add, G Harm & D Carnaffin, for the parade lap if possible. We will both be down from R3 with our 944 Turbo cabs, don't forget its also the 25th anniversary for the Turbo cab, so yet another celebration for the 944 and we hope to show them off with pride all weekend. I do intend to do the retro run on Saturday morning but could you advise timings nearer the time would't want to miss out if possible.

Hi Paul, please include me for this run, my name is John Clayburn, I already have my tickets, my car is H939YUU, a S2 cab.

If not then what about 928s.....
The 928 Register Secretary is responsible for them and should be on the case. [:)]
You are correct, Paul, but I think it may be a secret for now......[:D] I'm on the list though.....[:)]

Hi Alan,

Certainly not a secret! This should be promoted now to get the cars booked in. This is from the office last week:

"Things have moved pretty fast and as such we’re happy for you to reach out to the register to find the 20 cars." [:)]
