Silverstone Classic this weekend - Who's going?

This was an excellent event last year - this year promises more of the same [:)]

If you like to see some "proper" Porsche racing cars, being used the way the racing department intended, this is for you.

Last year access to the back of the pit garages was uninhibited - and the Saturday evening allowed a leisurely browse through the pits with no restrictions in sight - hope for the same this year[;)]

Of course being into cars means this one should be a no-brainer - £15 per couple a day, for the best racing and access you are likely to get anywhere. And your car parked in the circuit for easy access and security.

So who's going? I've had some register members call and email with their details to get the "A" pass needed to get in - there's still time for more though[:D]

Here is Robin Walker's post explaining how to take advantage of this fantastic deal:

There is still time to get your much reduced price tickets for this superb event.
All you have to do is phone the ticket Hotline on 08704 588260 and quote CLA PCG to get your tickets at the special price of £7.50 per person per day.
This facility will be available up to 5pm on Thursday 27th July.
If it is too late to put them into the Post, you will be able to collect them from the Ticket Collection Office which is to the left of the main vehicle entrance, at the rear of the large car park there. I intend to have someone there on each of the three days with infield display "A" passes for club members, non members can park in the Porsche only parking area to the rear of the main grandstands by collecting their "B" infield passes.
This event promises to be something special for those who are interested in classic and historic racing, and you should be there. Robin.
