Silverstone Classic Weekend

I am finally back in the UK for most of the summer and planning to go to the Silverstone Classic weekend. Is the 924 register organising any display parking in the designated club parking area behind the stands at Woodcote as I notice we will not have any 924's in the Club display this year. (I got lucky last year and ended up in the Club display inside the track).

Would be nice to get together with other register members. I am planning to go on the Saturday but if we are having a special presence any other day, I am flexible on dates as I have not yet bought my ticket.

Hi Patricia,

I'm planning on going along on the Saturday. I don't know anythinf about 924 specific parking though.

The Porsche only parking area is infield to the right of the bridge going over the national straight. There will be a display of 956's on the National straight and the clubs main display area is about 100 yds away over the bridge the other side of the Scarf & Goggles area.
You need to phone Silverstone ticket office on 01327 857273 and quote CLAPCG to be put on the list for an infield (purple) car pass, The tickets are 2 for the price of 1, that makes the Saturday ticket per person only £10 each. The infield parking is now NOT behind Woodcote. See you there?

Hi Sian

Thanks for your reply. Have bought my ticket now but changed to Sunday as some friends I met up with at Le Mans this year are going on Sunday.

Robin - thanks for the information; I had e mailed Paul ref whether there was going to be 924 Register Parking but not heard anything from him yet. See you there.
