Are any 924's going to the Silverstone Classic on Saturday 29th July? Would hate to be all alone amongst the air cooled brigade!!

Also has anyone yet received their Porsche Parking Infield Pass? I have e mailed both the register and the club but nothing yet. Although I will be going alone I have purchased the requisite two tickets to qualify for a Porsche Parking pass so will be really p****d if I don't receive one after going to the extra expense of a spare ticket.

 
Two 924 members (my wife and I) will be there doing our Marvin (Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy) inpersonations 'Parking Cars'.
 
Good to know F93 DOM will have some friends there. Just need to get the Porsche Parking Pass now, still not received anything or had a reply to my e mail to Club Office.
 
I'm sure I saw a post from Robin Walker recently implying that the in-field and out-field parking permits were to be handed out at the entrance gate when you arrived. I may be wrong but it's worth checking with Robin.

I have booked my tickets for the weekend but had heard of a possible trackday which was being run in conjunction with the event.?

Thanks to everyone for their replies. I have just received an e mail from Club Office to confirm that Jo Walker is posting Parking Passes for people who have purchased tickets in advance.

Regarding the 'post' enquiring about a track day, I understand that there is a special Classic Car Track Day on Monday 31st using the Historic Grand Prix circuit, as used over the weekend.
 
Carole & I are going for the 3 days in the 924. We did reply to the request of models required for the display, as yet we have not heard if ours is required. We will need to know one way or the other.

Because of the nature of the ticket booking for this event (Silverstone are organising it) exact ticket allocation will not be know to the Club yet - I am led to believe that there is plenty of room for display cars so if you have requested display parking there should be no problem.

I will ask when a display parking list will be available.
