Hi All
Is anyone going to the Silverstone classic on the 25th&26th July? If so, do you want to meet up before and arrive together as R31?

Hi Wayne, Fiona and I are going on the Saturday (25th).

We'll be leaving Witney around 07:15 to avoid the traffic jams on the A43 and get to the circuit before 08:30. This might seem ridiculously early but for the last 3 years, we've ended up queuing for around an hour and a half to drive the piddling 6 miles [link=https://goo.gl/maps/8kKsphttp://]from the Northampton Road roundabout[/link] (having arrived there at 09:00) into the circuit to get parked up in the Porsche area.

We could meet at the [link=https://goo.gl/maps/lD7Tt]Cherwell Valley Services[/link] (M40 : Junction 10) if you like, but we'd want to be leaving there no later than 07:45. Don't know if this works for you.

This will be the first Silverstone Classic the Mavis and I haven't attended and worked on the Club stand in 20 years.

In both cases it is because of health issues.

Sorry to hear that, Geoff - wish you both well again soon[:)]

Hi Geoff, Sorry to hear of your health issues, for someone as young as you!

Get well soon, Geoff and Mavis.

Best wishes from Jo and I.

Just to remind everyone that some of us will be meeting at the [link=https://goo.gl/maps/lD7Tt]Cherwell Valley Services[/link] (M40 : Junction 10) tomorrow morning at 07:45 for the drive up to Silverstone. Hopefully the rain will have stopped tomorrow and we won't end up parking in a muddy field. We'll be taking our Hunters and wet weather gear just in case. See you there.
