Just a quick note to say I am racing at Silverstone next Friday and Sat (18th and 19th), if anyone was intending to pop along and see the FIA GT's, make sure u come say hello and shoot the breeze for a while. Forgive me though, I am out in a Nissan.... (assuming it's finished!)

Mmmmm -now THAT would be a nice alternative to the PCGB RO & RS Seminar at Stratford.....know where I'll go if it gets boring then!![:D][:D][:D]

is this the same event as the touring car?.. if so i will be there (with a pitpass and hospitality thanks to my mate!) so will try and find you..

No, touring cars are at Rockingham this weekend, this the the FIA GTs with a Supercar run to Silverstone as well... the Tourist Trophy meeting I think it's called.

its my mate being a dick; anything that isn't open wheeled and has a roof is called a touring car in his world [&:]
im 99% sure its the GT's (it was last year when we went) so if im there then I will try and catch up or something.. post up details of the race/car and Ill make sure Im cheering the right person at least [:D]

I'll be in the red Nissan 350Z in the GT4 cup race on Sat lunchtime... Rick Pearson... assuming the engine/transmission arrive in time!!

I will be in one of the ground level hospitality boxes as you come into the pits; ill keep an eye out if i can tear myself away from the buffet.. [:D]

Me and some mates are coming over on Saturday in our 965's. Standard admission though, any chance you racer types can get us behind the scenes/ into some hospitality stuff?
cheers.

It's been a while since I've raced on the FIA GT bill, but I would be surprised if I couldn't get people into the odd garage/ pitlane etc if you are around at the right time... no promises, Friday would be easiest if anyone is thinking of coming over.

Come introduce yourself at the Promotorsport tent, as I said, it'll be the only Red 350Z and I'll see what I can do... early Sat morning would be good just after the FIA GT free practice session:

Apologies, courtesy of some quality British manufacturing where they didn't read the drawings properly the final few parts for the car have shown up the wrong size... so we are unable to run this weekend.
Gutted.
Hope all planning to go along still have a fun weekend.
Cheers
Rick
