Silverstone Supercar Race meeting 30th April, 1-2 May 2010 [/b] Porsche Club GB have again been invited to put on an infield display of our supercars to support the 2010 FIA GT race weekend which they call The Silverstone Supercar Event. This race meeting will feature action from Aston Martin, Corvette, Ferrari, Ford, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Maserati, Morgan, Nissan, Porsche, Saleen, and Viper as well as the F3 cars. They will be the first races to be held on the new 'Arena' Grand Prix circuit and will also be the first outing of the new Porsche GT3 R race car. The races will include the first round of the FIA GT1 world championship and the FIA GT2 & GT3 European championships as well as a round of the F3 championship. In joining our display of all Porsche models, those who buy the specially discounted Club advance tickets will get infield parking in our "Display" area just behind the paddock. The tickets include free paddock access, free grandstand seats and free entry for children under 15. There will be a dedicated entertainment area as well as Automobillia and trade stands to go with the relaxed informal atmosphere they want to encourage. To be part of this event you will need to book and pay for your tickets in advance. You can order them from Club Office on 01608 652911 or Events@porscheclubgb.com and pay buy Credit/Debit card or by cheque. Alternatively direct from the Silverstone Booking Office on 0844 3278260, where you will need to quote the special Club Booking Code of SSCC . PCGB will charge £1 per booking fee, Silverstone ticket office will charge £4. Club office will acknowledge your booking and payment. The tickets and infield passes for your Porsche will be posted to you from Club Office about two weeks before the race. Those buying tickets after Friday 23rd April will need to contact the Silverstone ticket office and you may have to collect the tickets and infield passes at the gate. The tickets are valid for all three days Fri/Sat/Sun and are priced at £15 per person, ( the public weekend tickets are £26 per person in advance and £43 per person when bought on the day, at the gate). Is this £15 + £1pcgb and £4silverstone or including? 3 day ticket sounds good for those 'occupationally challenged' among us[:D]
