Silverstone Timing ?

Got my pass and ticket today - thanks Paul. Was wondering what sort of time do we need to get to Silverstone if we are in the display area ?
 
Blimey - I only posted it on Sunday lunchtime!

Well done the Royal Mail, never mind they were only late because the registered post took a week to reach me......[:mad:][:mad:]

Official timing is 10 'till 4, but it would be nice to get the cars in earlier so our official Car Park Attendant can do his stuff with his Hi-Viz jacket - [;)]

I will be sending all the details in an e-mail this week, thanks to everyone who's coming and I look forward to seeing you all there.
 
I shall be going at silly o'clock Friday morning to try to get around the M25 prior to the post 7:30 gridlock [:mad:]
 
For once my location out in the boondocks is an advantage as won't have to worry about the M25 - that said the A14 can be a bit of a begger on a bad day [8|]
 
Got mine this morning as well..already attached to windscreen..[:D]
I actually have 2 passes for friday now..the pass for friday came from Cornbury House..just a pass..no ticket..Centre 2 entering from West..the weekender package from Paul contains 3 passes for Centre 1/Zone J and 3 tickets..just wondering how come the Club sent me only a car pass for friday - at first i was thinking of doing only one day..but that was saturday..[8|]

Turns out that the Silverstone database was in no way related to the cars actually turning up on each day. Thus they sent tickets for the Friday to a selection of people, some of whom are not even there on the Friday. My passes SHOULD all be correct.

They won't be, though - I just know it [:mad:]

Is email about arrangements landing tomorrow ? Only ask as it will go to my work address and am out of the office for much of Thursday - will make sure I get back if it is !
 
Details from Silverstone say that entry to the public starts at 08.30, and there are things happening though into the evenings. I'd guess that you cen get access from earlier if you want! I'm planning to be there from 08.00 each day.[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"] Those of you who need your guest tickets or car passes, there will be someone from the Club handing them out at the gate. According to the tickets that is "West 4", no doubt you'll all find it somehow! I don't want to be standing out all day every day, so can we say try and be in by 10.00 at the latest? I'd also like to get the cars arranged artistically, so the earlier the better. Please no movement of cars between 10.00 and 16.00 except the parade laps at 13.00 each day.[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"] Cost of the guest passes is in the envelope, worked out on the actual cost of the number of tickets divided by the number of people, plus the postage/credit card fee divided up. Cash or cheque is fine, or post it to me after the weekend.[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"] The list of events is fantastic each day, so it looks like a really good weekend! The 'Person from the Club' won't be there at 8am. He will be getting his instructions at 8.30am so I suggest that anyone needing passes arrives at 8.45 or later.
 
Don't panic, Mr Ives!

I'll be there in person if anyone is earlier....John and I should be there by about 7.30 at the latest if all goes to plan!
